Which states does Shih Tzu Finder cover so far?

Texas, Ohio, and Florida each have their own guide right now, with pricing, cities to check, and a climate-specific note for each. We are working through the other 47 states one at a time rather than publishing thin, copy-pasted pages for all of them at once.

Do you list named breeders on the state pages?

Not yet. We only name a breeder once we have seen their AKC registration and health-testing paperwork ourselves and confirmed it directly with them. Until that is true for a state, its page tells you what to check and where to look on your own instead.

How do I know a breeder in my state is legitimate?

Verify it yourself: ask for the AKC registration number and check it with the AKC directly, ask which health screening the parents have had (patella, eye, and hip are the usual ones for the breed), and ask to visit or video-call where the puppies are raised. Can I list my breeding program on a state page?

Yes. Email [email protected] with your state, and we will follow up about the health-testing and registration paperwork we would review before your listing goes live.
